- 2024 Dirtbags Showcase -

Coach A serves as the Director of Baseball Operations & Recruiting for NTXBC. Coach Allerheiligen also serves as the Head Coach for our top Premier 17U Showcase group & our NTXBC Dirtbag Collegiate team.

Coach A has been with NTXBC for over 9 years and is a former Assistant Director of Coaching for the NTXBC Dirtbags Organization. Cam is Coach Woods first 2-Sport Scholarship Athlete and 1st College signee out of NTXBC.

Coach Allerheiligen is a Keller High School graduate, where he was a 3-sport athlete all 4 years. Coach A was a 3-year letterman for Football and Baseball and a highly touted recruit in both sports. He was the starting QB and Offensive Player of the Year as a Junior & Senior for the football team and an All State/All District SS/3B for the Varsity baseball team as a Sophomore, Junior, and Senior.

Coach Allerheiligen continued to be a 2-sport athlete in college at the Division I level and attended the University of Arizona on a full football scholarship as a QB and as a third basemen. After a full year playing football at Arizona, Cam decided to transfer back to Texas to play baseball. He received a scholarship to play baseball for Coach Jeff Lightfoot at highly ranked Weatherford Junior College as a 3B/UT player. Coach Allerheiligen earned All-Conference & All-Region honors as a third basemen, as well as help lead the Coyotes to back-to-back NJCAA Regional Bids in 2011-2012.

After graduating with an associate degree from Weatherford JC, Cam received another scholarship offer to play baseball and continue his education in the Southland Conference as an Infielder for Jim Gilligan and the Southland Conference Champs & Division I Regional Qualifier, Lamar University Cardinals in Beaumont, Texas. Cam had 2 successful years as a INF/UT at Lamar and helped the Cardinals qualify for consecutive Southland Conference Tournaments Bids and Top 25 upsets against University of Texas, LSU, Houston, and Rice in 2013.

Coach Allerheiligen moved back to the DFW area after graduating from Lamar and was hired by Coach Woods as the Assistant Coaching Director and High School Showcase Coach for NTXBC in May of 2014. Coach Allerheiligen was Coach Woods assistant for his 17U Showcase Team and ran the NTXBC Infield and Hitting Camps, as well as coached his own 13U & 15U teams. After 4 years working for Coach Woods, Coach Allerheiligen left and took a job at BSN Sports where he currently works as a Baseball Category Specialist.

Coach Allerheiligen always has high expectations for his players on and off the field. Coach A not only preaches on how to play the game the right way, but how to act in the classroom, around your friends/peers, or when nobody is watching. Coach Allerheiligen is big on teaching our system at NTXBC and the "Dirtbag Way" to play the game of baseball.

Coach A is married to Abbey Kristine Allerheiligen (Downs) and have been married for 4 years. They also have 2 beautiful children, a 5-year-old boy named Lincoln Cooper, and a 3-year-old girl named Bishop Layne.
