As of December 15, 2011, NTXBC outfited the indoor facility with central A/C and Heat. The facility allows players to work on their game during the heat of the summer and the cold temperatures of the winter. A special thanks to Mike Davis, a new club member who has generously donated this to the club.
The North Texas Baseball Club is improving its training facilities as a result of a Corporate Contribution. The club has built two full size baseball fields. The Big Dirtbag field has a grass infield with dirt basepads. The Little Dirtbag field has an all dirt infield. Both fields will support every size bases. By having a grass infield and a dirt infiled, it gives our teams the ability to practice on both surfaces.
The NTXBC has built its own indoor and outdoor practice facilities for our club teams.
Currently the NTXBC has three (3) indoor hitting and pitching lanes capable of providing multiple stations for simultaneous hitting drills. Our outdoor facilty to include an 2 hitting cages, 2 pitching tunnels and a soft toss area. The indoor facility is co-located with our outdoor baseball fields.
The NTXBC has also built a full size baseball field (Big Dirtbag Field) able to accomodate all age groups through high school. In 2011, NTXBC completed our second practice field (Little Dirtbag Field). By having 2 full size practice fields, it allows our teams to practice without worrying of overcrowding. Both fields are completely irrigated and sodded with 419 sport tiff bermuda grass. The infield clay is specially formulated for baseball diamonds. There is adequate parking and fences lining the fields.
