"In a letter from the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) dated August 19, 2010, the IRS determined that the NTXBC is exempt from Federal income tax under section 501(c)3 of the Internal Revenue Code."
Contributions to the NTXBC are now deductible under section 170 of the code. The NTXBC is qualified to receive tax deductible bequests, devises, transfers or gifts under section 2055, 2106 or 2522 of the code.
It was also determined by the IRS that the NTXBC fits the classification of a public charity under section 501(c)3 of the code.
The NTXBC has existed for two years and in that time our teams have recorded a combined 24 league & tournament championships. 20 of our 24 championships came in 2010 after the club had an opportunity to expand from 2 teams to 8 teams. The NTXBC looks forward to continuing to build a winning tradition in 2011.
The 2010 10U Yard Dawgs started off the season with one goal in mind – qualify for the 2010 Pony Mustang World Series. The team participated in the Pony Elite League with an overall season record of 13-1. Once the 10U Yard Dawgs league season was over it was time to focus on winning through the post season. To date the 10U Yard Dawgs have won 21 post season games with no losses, outscoring opponents 188-32. The team started things off with a bang going 4-0 (outscoring opponents 57-6) in the Pony Invitational tournament. The next step was the Pony Section tournament where the team went 3-0 (outscoring opponents 30-8) to qualify for the West Super Regional’s. The Yard Dawgs went 6-0 (outscoring opponents 71-14) and captured the flag as the 2010 West Region Super Regional Champions. After that the top 4 teams from the West Region and the Dallas/Oklahoma region faced off in a four team qualifier, where one team would advance to the 2010 Mustang World Series. The Yard Dawgs came out on fire winning the first game 20 to 0. The intensity remained in the second game as the team went on to win 10 to 4 advancing to the Pony Mustang World Series. The World Series will consist of 8 teams from various parts of the US , Puerto Rico, and Mexico . The Yard Dawgs kick things off against Mexico on Wednesday August 4th. The motto of the 10U team is F I N I S H!!!!
The 10U Yard Dawgs will be playing in the Pony Mustang League World Series next week August 4 – August 7 in Irving, Texas. The NTXBC encourages all of the families to come out and show your support for them as they play teams from the U.S. and Mexico.

Game 3 – Friday, August 6 Yard Dawgs vs. Northern Zone (Team TBD) Game Time : 8:30 p.m. Location : Field 1
